List of sites with fonts

Often students ask me about where to find good fonts. If you subscribe to the cloud, you can use typekit.com

A lot of my clients are bound to the set of corporate fonts they always use. But when we make a rebrand, we do an extensive typography exploration. Often we have seen the latest fad somewhere else, and with the site “what the font” or app on iPhones, you can look up the name.¬†

Here are some links to type foundries or websites with fonts. If you know some others, please add the links to the discussion.

Fontbase is a good free type-manager app for desktop (you can also use fontbook on mac). It only takes newer formats (not the old suitcase or atm files)
